Do you ever question how much your kids actually get about what is going on in your life? I keep praying for them to be prepared for our sweet daughter to join us just as much as I pray for her heart to be prepared to join us.
Tonight God gave me a precious gift... a glimpse of what my sweet children understand and how they are feeling about our newest addition...
Tonight the kids took turns praying before dinner....
Ian (5), "Thank you for the food, thank you for mommy and daddy and thank you for our sweet baby sister that we are adopting."
Aili (8),"Thank you that we are able to adopt our baby sister. Thank you Lord for giving us the pre-approval from China so she can be ours. Thank you for providing for us to go get her in China."
Tears, Tears.... then my sweet kids realizing that mommy was crying...
yet not understanding why or how precious their sweet words and loving hearts are to me....
Thank you Lord, for blessing me with such amazing gifts.
Thank you for my children.
